Case study of the use of ‘PIPE Design Pro®’ at the university in Vietnam.

The country of Vietnam is experiencing an increase in serious water pollution due to its rapid economic development. To solve these problems, it is essential to develop public sewers, including house connections. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of public sewerage systems, it is necessary to further improve the management skills of local government officials in planning and implementing sewerage projects, and the design skills of construction consultants. Many excellent engineers are needed to protect the lifelines of water supply and sewerage, which are very important for daily life.

Against this background, Pipe Design has been actively providing technical support to universities in the country of Vietnam since 2015 through software to help train future sewerage engineers.

‘PIPE Design Pro®’ is a software that runs on top of AutoCAD. Students can learn more advanced AutoCAD operations. By learning the practical sewer pipe culvert design process, students learn not only theory but also design methods. Students’ mastery of sewer culvert design will also help them to succeed in their future careers.
