Adopted for the JICA, SME and SDGs Business Support Project “Needs Confirmation Survey for the Construction of Sewerage Database for Urban Water Environment improvement in Vietnam” in FY2023

Our company has recently been selected for a project in the “Needs Confirmation Survey” for small and medium enterprises and SDGs business support. The project is focused on “Needs Confirmation Survey for the Establishment of a Sewerage Database for Improving the Urban Water Environment in Vietnam.”

PIPE Design Pro (PDP), our product, is an AutoCAD-based CAD system that brings a revolution in sewerage design. This software efficiently supports all stages of sewerage pipeline design, streamlining complex calculations and drawing creation. Complying with Japan’s water environment pollution prevention laws since the 1990s, PDP is widely used in nationwide sewerage projects. Currently, PDP holds about 40% of the market share in Japan, establishing itself as a critical tool for sewerage design.

The key feature of PDP is its ability to centralize manual tasks in sewerage design and achieve time and cost reduction through its automatic calculation functions. It offers superior cost-performance compared to Western products and has received high acclaim from users. Since 2014, we have been engaged in activities in Southeast Asia, including using PDP in university courses, participating in exhibitions, training engineers in Japan, and contributing to JICA’s technical cooperation projects for sewerage planning and implementation capacity enhancement. With our selection for the 2023 Small and Medium Enterprises and SDGs Business Support Project, we will conduct a needs survey in the Vietnamese market to examine how the introduction of PDP can contribute to the efficiency of sewerage design and the improvement of the water environment. PDP’s technology is expected to have a significant impact on the design and maintenance of sewerage systems in Vietnam.
